Summer Awards Meet - July 22, 2023, Ford's Colony Westbury Pool 

Summer Awards declaration is open!  You'll find the entries on the SwimTopia homepage under meets.  All swimmers need to be declared as attending or not by 6:00pm on Wednesday July 12, 2023!  Please declare your swimmer(s) ASAP!  No late entries will be accepted.

When you choose that your swimmer is attending the meet, it will show you the events that they are able to swim. Swimmers may enter up to 3 individual events and 1 relay.  Make sure to mark if your swimmer is available to participate in relays when you declare.  Coaches will be making our relay lineups from swimmers who are available.  .  

** Parents, please make sure your swimmer will swim their event(s).  Our team pays for each entry and relay.  We understand pulling out of events for illness, but we want to keep the amount of scratches to a minimum.** 

Swimmers are able to swim events at Summer Awards if they have not reached a Champs Meet qualifying time in that event.  If they reach a Champs qualifying time at Summer Awards, they can swim the following weekend at the Champs Meet.

General Summer Awards Meet Information  

Swimmers 10 and under are swimming in the morning session.  Warm ups for the morning session begin at 7:30am and the meet begins at 8:45am.  We will have a more specific warm up time for our team the week before the meet.   

Swimmers 11 and older will swim in the afternoon session.   Warm ups begin at 12:00pm and the meet is scheduled to begin at 1:15pm.  We will have a more specific warm up time for our team the week before the meet.     

Ribbons will be awarded for 1st-12th place in individual and relay events.  There are a few different event numbers for younger swimmers for this meet, the younger ages are broken into separate groups rather than combined 7-8 or 9-10 events.  This is so swimmers have a better chance to win a ribbon!  

We will have more information available as we get closer to the meet.  Warm up times, concessions, along with volunteer spots our team needs to fill will be sent out as we get that information.  

T-Shirt Orders for Summer Awards 

July 10th is the deadline to orders t-shirts for the Summer Awards meet.  Shirts will be distributed at the meet on the 22nd.
