Meet Wrap Up

Friendship Meet

Last night we held our friendship meet against the Gators.  It was fun meet with a lot of great swims from our Seastars.  Those relays are so fun and exciting to watch!  Since this was a friendship meet, the result is a tie with Greensprings.  

Village Green Meet 

Results from the Village Green meet are in.  This was the virtual meet we had on June 19th.  We have our second win of the season with Seastars scoring 298 points and Village Green with 171!  Go Seastars!  Congratulations to our triple winners of the meet, Skyler Austin, Silas Cole, Emma Montgomery, Robby Saul, Sean Thomas, Morgan Vaughan, Nathan White!   

Windsor Great Park Waves- away meet July, 3rd  

We have an away meet on Monday July, 3rd at Windsor Great Park.  The address is, 701 Balthrope Rd, Newport News, VA 23608.  Swimmers should be at the pool and ready to warm up at 5:30pm.  The theme is America night, get ready for 4th of July and show off your patriotic spirit.   Don't forget to bring chairs, towels, goggles, sunscreen, bug spray, swim caps, and money for concessions. 

We still have some volunteer slots open for the meet on Monday.  Please help out at the meet if you are able.

Practice July 4th 

We are having practice on Tuesday, July 4th.  Please note that instead of donuts, we will have popsicles available after practices.

Double Good Popcorn  

Our popcorn fundraising competition is off to a good start!  Currently, we have over $1,700 in total sales!  The sale ends on July 3, at 5pm.  If you don't want to make a pop up shop, there is a general swim team shop available.  Please consider sharing with family and friends. https://s.dgpopup.com/l373civ6 Our swim team receives 50% of each purchase.  

Summer Awards Shirt Orders

Summer Awards meet is July 22, 2023. If your swimmer would like a t-shirt from the event you can use the link below. Orders are due by midnight on July 10th. Typically the shirts are available for pick up during the meet. There will be an email with more information and details about the Summer Awards meet at a later date.
