Hello Seastar Families,

Last night was an intense meet.  It came down to the relays and in the end our Seastars lost by only 8 points to the Typhoons.  There were a lot of improved times!  Just think back to the very first meet of the year and how much our swimmers have grown and improved this swim season.  Great Job, Seastars!  

Congratulations to the the triple winners at the meet. Alivia Ballin, Karina Long and Sean Thomas!  

Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers!  We really could not do our meets without you!  We have had an amazing group of parents this year who helped make the meets run smoothly.  Thank you so much for all of your hard work this swim season!

Practices 

Practices this week remain the same times and age groups. 

**Next week, July 25-29, Champs practice (all ages) will be from 8-9am.  These practices are for swimmers attending the Champs Meet.  *Note - younger swimmers may be dismissed from practice before 9am.

Upcoming Events 

Emails have gone out to swimmers attending the Summer Awards and Champs Meets.  

Summer Awards is this Saturday, July 23.  Parents, be on the look out for information later this week (directions, warm up times, volunteering opportunities).

Champs Meet is Saturday, July 30.  The sign up is open to declare swimmers that have made a champs time.  There will be an email with more information early next week.  

Swim Banquet

Our swim banquet will be Sunday, July 31 from 5-8pm.  This is a nice way for our Seastars to wrap up the swim season.  Later this week there will be a sign up for this partial pot luck event.  Be on the look out for an email from Heather Hansen regarding donations for the coaches.   

This has been a great swim season.  It's been so nice to see our Seastars learn, improve and gain confidence in the pool!  Good Luck to all swimmers attending the Summer Awards and Champs Meet.  Swim fast Seastars!
