Hello SeaStar families,

The 2022 swim season is almost here!  Ahead of registration, which opens on April 23, 2022, we wanted to give an update on available Family Support Task options.  Our swim team families are amazing volunteers and help the swim team succeed each year!  Families are required to support our team by choosing one support task for the summer.  The tasks vary as far as time commitment and if you have a question regarding any of the tasks, please feel free to ask.

Family support tasks are chosen during registration and are a great way to help our team throughout the season.  To help with planning, attached is a list of the available tasks with a brief description. If you have any questions, please contact a swim team board member.

New this year is Neighborhood Concessions at Powhatan Secondary’s Party on the Lawn. Come listen to the band and support the SeaStars on either June 11, or July 9, 2022!

Sponsor Ad Sales is also a support task option this year.  Find sponsors for the team at a variety of levels.  Attached is an informational letter and sponsorship form, if any family would like that information earlier than registration. Sales totaling $125 meet the family support task requirement. Ad sales should be sent in by May 23, 2022 to Ashley Montgomery for sponsor businesses to be featured on the team shirt.  Ashley Montgomery's address is 159 Hartwell Perry Way, Williamsburg, VA 23188. As a reminder, family support tasks are different than swim meet volunteering.  Volunteering for swim meets will open the week before each meet.  Please help our meets run smoothly by volunteering. Together we can make this an awesome season for the SeaStars!
