I wanted to reiterate my thanks from last night. 

Thank you to Sportsman Grille for donating the bbq and chicken for last night's banquet!

I want to again thank my board for all the hard work they have put into the season (and will still put in as we wrap up the year).  Thank you also to all the parents for volunteering in all the different ways you have.  To name a few... last night's banquet, car washes, spirit nights, pancake breakfast, selling sponsor ads, merchandise, donuts, official training, swim meet jobs....the list goes on and on.  Our team is successful because you all volunteer your time to make it that way.  So thank you again and again!  If you still have proceeds from your fundraiser, please let me know so we can meet up to get it deposited.  

Speaking of the board...each year we have a board member or two who would like to step down and we are always looking for new members to join our team.  Please send me an e-mail if you would like to join the board or if you have more questions before officially joining us.  ([email protected])   By having a large board group, we are able to split the duties so no one person is doing it all.  

Thank you again to our coaches!  Our coaches worked with 107 swimmers, 52 of which were new to our team!  We began the season with 36 swimmers in the stairs area and it is amazing to see all the growth from beginning to end.  We are proud of the responsibility and dedication our coaches demonstrated through the summer.  Thank you to all the parents who donated to the coaches gifts.  Each coach received a substantial cash bonus due to your generosity.  

For those of you who missed the awards banquet last night, we missed you!  We have left all items in the guard shack in a large cardboard box.  Please check the box for your trophy or gift card, your paper plate award, and some of you have ribbons as well.  We will be in contact with you if you have not collected your awards in the next two weeks.  

I hope the rest of your summer is great!  See you at the pool and look for swim team registration e-mails in April 2022!
