Congratulations on an undefeated season Seastars!  The score from last night's meet was 241 to 242!!!!  We won by only one point!  What a great meet and a terrific way to end the season.

Events:

This Thursday (7/22) is our Blaze pizza fundraiser from 5 to 8pm.  The flier is attached to this e-mail and must be shown at the register for our team to receive a portion of the proceeds.  Encourage friends and family to join us!

Next Wednesday (7/28) is our Pizza/Pool party from 5 to 8pm at the park shelter and pool.  We do need families to RSVP so we can order pizza accordingly.  Typically, our pizza party is after the last meet, but with so many younger swimmers, we decided to do it during dinner time.  We plan to order approx. two slices per person, so eat a little before or bring a snack if you or your swimmer would need more to be full.  :)  Please RSVP on the home screen of the swimtopia site   https://psseastars.swimtopia.com/   The green button can be found along the side under events.  Please RSVP for your family by this Sunday (7/25) at 5pm.  There is a place to enter extra family members who are not on the team, but who will eat pizza.  Please keep this in the family (that number is not to include friends who are not on the team) as we use team money to pay for the pizza.  (Click not attending if you are not planning to eat pizza - this RSVP is just to give us a pizza count, not to give us a count of those attending)  Our rain date will be Thursday 7/29.

Practices:

Practices this week will remain at their normal times.  All swimmers are invited to attend practice this week.  I received ribbons today from Edgehill and those will be distributed at practices tomorrow morning (Wed.).  Any ribbons we have left will be distributed at our awards banquet.

Practices next week (Monday 7/26 - Friday 7/30) will be for Champs swimmers only.  Practice time will be from 8:45am to 9:50am for all swimmers (with 8 and unders getting out at 9:30am)

Summer Awards Meet :

The summer awards meet will be this Saturday (7/24) at Queens Lake Pool.  If your swimmer is signed up for this meet, you will receive an e-mail this week with warm up times and volunteer sign up needs.

Champs Meet:

The Champs meet will be next Saturday (7/31) at WISC.  If your swimmer has a qualifying champs time, you should have received an e-mail this evening.  We will send more information as it becomes available.

All swimmers are invited to our end of the season Awards Banquet.  The Awards Banquet will be on Sunday, 8/1 from 5 to 8pm at the pool.  The team will provide chicken, drinks, and cake.  We do need help with this event.  We will need people to help set up, clean up, and bring other pot luck style food.  Please click here to see how you can help make this banquet successful.  For those of you who are new to our team, we eat dinner first, swim for a while, and then we do awards.  Swimmers 13 and under receive a trophy and swimmers 14 and up receive a small gift card.  Our coaches have some special trophies to give out and they have created paper plate awards.  They tell stories from the season and the paper plate awards are sometimes the best part of the night.  It is a great event and we hope you can all attend.
