I received the summer awards meet information today.

The meet will be at Queens Lake pool (234 East Queens Dr. Williamsburg, VA 23185) on Saturday, July 24th.  They are holding a food drive and ask each family to bring food to donate to the Williamsburg House of Mercy.  Please see the attached flier for more information.

All 8 and under boys and girls will swim in the morning session. All 9 to 18 year old boys and girls will swim in the afternoon session. Relays will be swum at the end of both the morning and afternoon sessions. 

AM Session: Warm ups: 7:00 - 8:00 am; Meet start: 8:15 am 

PM Session: Warm ups: 11:00 -12:00 pm; Meet start 12:15 pm 

There will be four 15-minute warm-up periods in each session. Lane assignments will be based on the number of swimmers from each team in each session and will be determined after entries are processed. Warm up and session start times may be adjusted based on the number of entries for each session.

Swimmers are eligible to swim in this meet if they have a qualifying time in swimtopia from a normal meet this summer.  Qualifying time means that the time must be slower than the champs time qualifier for the event in which they register.  That means, if a swimmer has a champs time only in backstroke, they may not register for backstroke for this meet, but they could register for three other events (free, breaststroke, and fly for example).  Each swimmer can register for up to three individual events.  We will create relays when possible. 

Kostas will need to have entries in by Tuesday morning (7/20), so we are asking for you to let him know what your swimmer(s) will want to swim by Sunday night, 7/17.  Our team pays for each event and each relay, so please only sign up if you plan to attend.  Fill out a separate form for each swimmer attending by clicking this link.

This is a fun event and we hope you sign up to go!  Ribbons are awarded to places 1st through 12th.  Concessions are sold throughout the meet as well.
