Hi Seastars,

Meet #2 of the season will take place Monday night at the Villages of Westminster pool located at 4820 Wellesley Blvd. Williamsburg, VA 23188 Warmups will begin for our team at 5:30 so please plan for traffic and have your swimmers there at 5:15. Bring your chairs and cash. The other team will have pizza and snacks for sale but they only take cash.

The meet format will be the same as last Monday, but we will have the opportunity to compete in-real-life with another team! Also, the opposing team uses “timer cards” which means that when your child is called to clerk of course they will be handed a card for their event that they will carry with them and present to the timers. This is a small detail and we will guide your child through this, but just wanted folks to understand what the cards are and that your child should hang on to it until they reach the block for their event.

We are hoping for another win, but regardless of the outcome, we’ll be celebrating our efforts with Donut Tuesday on 6/29. There are a still few spots available to contribute a dozen donuts for the older kids' practices this Tuesday so sign up here.
