Happy Father’s Day and Summer Solstice!

Beginning tomorrow (Monday 6-21) we’ll be on our morning practice schedule:

• 7:45 - 8:30am - 8 and under swimmers
• 8:30 - 9:30am - 9 to 12 year-old swimmers
• 9:30 - 10:30am - 13 and up swimmers
• *Please be careful driving in the pool parking lot before and after practice as there will be a many young Seastars arriving to practice by bike.*

• Tomorrow is also our first meet of the season. Village Green has elected to swim our meet virtually rather than in-person. This won’t change our plans except for our warm ups will now begin at 5:30 so you don’t need to have your swimmers at the pool until 5:15. The meet will begin at 6:00.
• Timers and officials meetings will start at 5:45pm. If you are working as an official (i.e. meet referee, starter, stroke and turn judge) please remember to wear dark blue shorts with a solid white shirt or tank top. All other volunteers, it’s hot on the pool deck at that hour! Be sure to dress comfortably.
• We will have hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks, and other treats for sale at concessions. Food is allowed on the pool deck, but you can also set up outside the gates in the grass/shade – remember to bring chairs.
• Lastly, head to Sno to Go on Monday June 21st anytime between 12pm and 9pm. Our team will receive a portion of profits! Since the meet might go late on Monday be sure to head there prior to the meet to get a little pre meet sugar jump!

Coming soon: the board will be sending out a calendar with dates for Spirit nights and other Seastar happenings so that we have the dates all in one place and to help with summer planning. See you at the meet tomorrow!
