Good morning Seastars,

Thank you for a wonderful season!  I am so glad we were able to do as much as we did this summer!  We had a great meet yesterday.  Teams in the VPSU league have until Tuesday to complete their meet, so the final results will most likely not be available till Wed.  Once the results are in, I will send out a results sheet by e-mail.  I would expect the ribbons to arrive next week and will contact you when they are available.  

I would like to specifically thank groups of people who made this summer swim team possible.

Thank you for being flexible all through the spring when we weren't sure if we would be able to have a team.  Thank you also for your great coaching!  It was a terrific summer and the kids had a great time thanks to you!

Thank you for all your help this year!  We work so well together to make a huge job easier to handle.

Parents and Families:

Thank you for volunteering your time to make sure your kids are ready for practice and filling the jobs of the meet.  A lot goes into running a team and it wouldn't happen without all of us pitching in.  

Looking to Next Season:

The board is always looking for new members as people "retire" or children age out.  If you are interested in joining our board, please contact me at [email protected].  Our board meets periodically throughout the year (maybe 3 or 4 times) and we do a great job of breaking up the tasks so no one is doing it all.  I am happy to answer any questions.
